Background

The grapes for Ivica Matošević’s wines come from two particular locations. Buje, in northwest Istria, offers aged and fresher white wines, particularly Malvasia; whilst the second, located in central Istria, near the village of Grimalda, is the source of Grimalda White and Grimalda Red, described as “a coupage of white and red grape varieties”.
