Serbia is comprised some eight different wine regions, each with their own particular sub-regions.
Main Wine Regions and Sub-Regions
- Timok – eastern Central Serbia – Krajina (Negotin) and Knjaževac;
- Nišava-South Morava – southern Serbia – Aleksinac, Toplica, Niš, Nišava, Leskovac, Vranje;
- West Morava– central Serbia – Čačak, Kruševac;
- Šumadija-Great Morava– central Serbia – Mlava, Jagodina, Belgrade, Oplenac;
- Pocerina – western Serbia;
- Srem – located around Fruška Gora in Vojvodina;
- Banat– located around Vršac in eastern Vojvodina – South Banat, North Banat;
- Subotica-Horgoš – northern Vojvodina;
