Vinarija Ivanović Prokupac (2011) – “Intense nose of plums and blackcurrant…black cherry and red fruit on the palate…satin texture with well-integrated tannins.”

The Ivanović family first settled Aleksandrovac (then known as Kozetin), in Serbia’s Župa region, in 1814. Following the first world war, Dragoslav Ivan Ivanovic prospered as a winemaker and merchant, producing some half a million lites by 1940. Though the vineyard was severely affected by the seizure of its vineyards during Tito’s Yugoslavia, Dragoslav Ivan’s grandson, Dragoslav Ivanović, returned in 1996 seeking to revitalise the long family tradition.
